Welcome to Q.U.E.S.T

Q.U.E.S.T Work Skills is an Alternative Provision situated in the New Forest, and in close proximity to Bournemouth and Christchurch. Our calm rural setting features extensive woodland, a fully fitted workshop and dedicated indoor spaces. We are approved providers on both the Dorset and BCP Alternative Provision Frameworks. We have also worked collaboratively with both mainstream and specialist schools in the local area to provide bespoke packages and reduce school exclusions.

Ethos

Every child deserves an education that meets them where they are and celebrates their unique strengths. Our core ambition is to ensure that every learner, regardless of their starting point, personal circumstance, or previous educational experience achieves meaningful academic progress and leaves with improved confidence, and long-term aspiration.  At the core of this is a creative curriculum model, supported by qualified and experienced teachers.  We do this through a personalised curriculum, robust assessment systems, outstanding teaching and learning, and a culture that re-engages children with education. Regardless of their age or stage, our learners are supported to improve personal and social skills as well as mental health. This sets a firm foundation for acquiring functional English and Maths skills, which allow learners to access a broad curriculum and a bright future with opportunities for further education, employment and independent living. Young people accessing our secondary provision, are able to work towards recognised qualifications to support them in their next steps.
